作品について / About the Work
日常の中で見落とされがちな瞬間や、心の奥に残る感情を、
音楽から受け取った感覚とともに再構成した作品です。
タイトルの「Whole Lotta Love / 情熱の跡」は、
Led Zeppelinの楽曲「Whole Lotta Love」から着想を得ました。
何かに夢中になったり、必死に日々を過ごしたりする中で生まれる強いエネルギー。
その熱は、時間が経つと静かな「跡」となり、記憶の奥に残っていきます。
この作品では、かつて燃え上がった感情や時間を何度も塗り重ねながら、
表面上は静かになっても、内側ではまだ脈打ち続けている力を残そうとしました。
下地から何度も塗り重ねた絵具の層、
新聞や印刷物の断片、積み重なったマチエール。
一見まとまって見える表面の下には、
そこに至るまでに費やした時間や感情が何層にも隠れています。
激しい感情が時間とともに形を変え、
やがて自分の内側に残る「芯」のようなものになる。
その変化の痕跡を感じてもらえたらと思っています。

This work reconstructs overlooked moments from everyday life and emotions that remain beneath the surface, through sensations received from music.
The title “Whole Lotta Love” was inspired by the Led Zeppelin song of the same name.
The intense energy that arises when we become absorbed in something or move through life with urgency may eventually quiet down, but it does not disappear. Over time, it becomes a trace embedded in memory.
In this work, layers of paint were repeatedly applied over one another, transforming that sense of heat and intensity into a quieter surface while allowing its energy to remain underneath.
Fragments of printed matter, accumulated paint, and textured surfaces hold traces of the time and emotion invested in the making of the work.
What once felt intense may change its form with time and remain as an inner strength. This work explores the traces left behind by that transformation.

この作品は、楽曲の内容をそのまま描いたものではありません。
「Whole Lotta Love」から受け取った力強さ、反復するリズム、
押し寄せるようなエネルギーが、制作の中で色や素材を重ねていく行為とつながっています。
音楽の中で音が重なり、厚みを持って響いていくように、
この作品でも複数の素材や絵具の層を重ねながら、
ひとつの画面をつくっています。
私にとって音楽は、イメージを直接描くためのものではなく、
感情や時間を動かし、制作を始めるための入口のひとつです。

This work is not a literal visual interpretation of the song.
The strength, repetition, and surging energy I felt in “Whole Lotta Love” became connected to the physical act of layering color and materials during the making process.
Just as sounds accumulate and gain density within music, layers of paint, printed fragments, and texture build upon one another in the work.
For me, music is not something to illustrate directly. It acts as an entry point that sets emotion and time in motion and opens the process of making.
