作品について / About the Work
日常の中で見落とされがちな瞬間や、心の奥に残る感情を、
音楽から受け取った感覚とともに再構成した作品です。
タイトルの「Synchronicity / 共鳴」は、
The Policeの楽曲「Synchronicity」から生まれました。
全く別の場所から集まったものが、ある瞬間、
まるで以前から約束していたかのように響き合う。
そのような感覚を、ひとつひとつの断片をつなぎ合わせながら画面の中に残しました。
日常の中でふと目にした景色や誰かの言葉が、
自分の内側にある記憶や感情と突然重なることがあります。
楽譜の断片、印刷物の文字、紙、色、そして力強い黒。
本来は別々の場所にあった素材がキャンバスの上で出会い、
重なりながら新しいリズムをつくっています。
それぞれの断片は独立して存在しながら、
重なることで別の関係や意味が生まれていきます。
複数の層の中から、見る人自身の記憶や感覚につながるものを
見つけてもらえたらと思っています。
English
This work reconstructs overlooked moments from everyday life and emotions that remain beneath the surface through sensations received from music.
The title “Synchronicity” was inspired by the song of the same name by The Police.
Elements that come from entirely different places can sometimes meet and resonate as though they had been connected from the beginning.
This work explores that sense of unexpected resonance by bringing together fragments on the surface of the canvas.
A landscape glimpsed in everyday life or a few words spoken by someone can suddenly overlap with a memory or emotion within us.
Fragments of musical notation, printed text, paper, color, and strong areas of black meet on the canvas and begin to create a new rhythm.
Each fragment retains its own presence, yet new relationships and meanings emerge when they overlap.
Through these layers, I hope viewers may discover something that connects with their own memories and perceptions.

この作品は、楽曲そのものを絵に置き換えたものではありません。
音楽を聴くことで生まれたリズムや感情、言葉の断片、
そして時間の感覚を、素材の重なりや色、痕跡として画面へ置き換えています。
音楽が終わったあとにも感覚が残るように、
作品の中にも、その瞬間に生まれた感情や時間の痕跡が残っていきます。

This work is not a literal visual interpretation of the song.
The rhythm, emotion, fragments of language, and sense of time that emerged while listening to the music were translated into layers of material, color, and traces on the surface.
Just as a sensation can remain after the music has ended, the work holds traces of the emotions and time that emerged during the act of making.
