作品について / About the Work

日常の中で見落とされがちな瞬間や、心の奥に残る感情を、
音楽から受け取った感覚とともに再構成した作品です。

タイトルの「Good Times Bad Times / 時間の痕跡」は、
Led Zeppelinの楽曲「Good Times Bad Times」から着想を得ました。

とても楽しい時間もあれば、少し立ち止まってしまうような日もある。
そのどちらもが、時間とともに私たちの中へ積み重なり、
今という瞬間をつくる「痕跡」になっていきます。

何でもないように見える日常の下にも、
さまざまな経験や感情が何層にも重なっています。
この作品では、その時間の積み重なりを画面の層として残そうとしました。

キャンバスを広く覆う白の隙間から、
かすかに色彩が覗いています。
それらは、過ぎ去った時間の中に残る記憶や経験の断片でもあります。

一見すると静かな画面ですが、
その奥には、それまでに通り過ぎてきた時間の厚みがあります。

日々の断片が重なり、やがてひとつの現在をつくっていく。
その層の中に残る時間の気配を感じてもらえたらと思っています。

This work reconstructs overlooked moments from everyday life and emotions that remain beneath the surface through sensations received from music.

The title “Good Times Bad Times” was inspired by the Led Zeppelin song of the same name.

There are joyful periods in life, as well as days when we hesitate or come to a stop. Both gradually accumulate within us and become traces that shape the present moment.

Even beneath an ordinary-looking day, many experiences and emotions exist in overlapping layers. In this work, I approached that accumulation of time through the physical layers of the surface.

White spreads across much of the canvas, while fragments of vivid color remain visible through openings in the surface. These colors suggest memories and experiences that continue to exist beneath what is immediately seen.

Although the surface may appear quiet, it contains the density of time that has already passed.

The work explores how fragments of everyday life accumulate and eventually form the present, leaving subtle traces of time within its layers.

この作品は、楽曲の内容をそのまま絵として表現したものではありません。

「Good Times Bad Times」というタイトルから感じた、
良い時間も悪い時間もすべて積み重なって現在につながっていくという感覚が、
この作品の出発点のひとつになっています。

音楽の中で異なる音やリズムが重なりながらひとつの流れをつくるように、
制作でも、紙、色、絵具、過去の痕跡を重ねながら画面をつくっています。

白によって覆われた部分も、それ以前に存在していたものを完全に消しているわけではありません。
下の層はわずかな色や凹凸として残り、作品の現在の姿を支えています。

音楽を聴いたあとに感覚が残るように、
通り過ぎた時間もまた、見えにくい形で私たちの中に残り続ける。
この作品では、そのような時間のあり方を考えています。

This work is not a literal visual interpretation of the song.

One of its starting points was the idea suggested by the title “Good Times Bad Times”: both positive and difficult moments accumulate and become part of the present.

Just as different sounds and rhythms overlap to create movement within music, the work is built through layers of paper, color, paint, and traces of what existed before.

The areas covered in white do not completely erase the previous layers. Colors and textures remain partially visible, supporting the surface that exists now.

In the same way that a sensation can remain after music has ended, time that has passed continues to exist within us in subtle forms. This work reflects on those lingering traces of time.
