チラシ、新聞、古いノートの切れ端。
かつて何かを伝えたり、記録したりしていた紙たち。それぞれの役目を持っていた紙が重なり混ざり合い、
何がどこから来たのか分からなくなっていきます。もとの意味が見えなくなったあとにも、
そこにあった時間や痕跡は残っています。

Fragments of flyers, newspapers, and old notebooks.
Papers that once carried information or recorded something
are layered and mixed together. As they overlap, their original identities become difficult
to distinguish. Even when their original meanings disappear,
traces of their past remain.

異なる紙や文字が重なり、ひとつの画面をつくっています。もとの形が分かる部分もあれば、
ほかの素材に覆われて見えなくなった部分もあります。ひとつひとつの断片が持っていた時間が、
重なり合うことで新しい表情を生み出しています。

Different papers and fragments of text come together
to form a single surface. Some parts remain recognizable, while others are hidden
beneath different materials. The time held by each fragment
creates a new expression through their layers.

The time held by each material meets the time created
through their arrangement. Different moments overlap

それまで見えていたものが見えなくなる。
けれど、すべてが消えてしまうわけではありません。見えなくなったものは、本当に消えたのでしょうか。

Faint letters and traces remain beneath the white. By covering something, what was once visible becomes hidden.
Yet not everything disappears. Has something truly vanished just because it can no longer
be seen?

文字は、何かを伝えるために存在しています。けれど、紙を重ねたり、白を重ねたりすることで、
読める文字と読めなくなった文字が生まれます。意味を伝えるための文字が、
いつしか形や痕跡として残っていく。
その変化を作品の中にとどめています。

Letters exist to communicate meaning. But through layering and covering,
some remain readable while others fade away. Words that once carried meaning gradually become
shapes and traces. This work captures that transformation.
